Update

We are overwhelmed by the Saints and the prayers they have been lifting up before our heavenly Father for our sweet boy Ezekiel. Thank you everyone who has messaged and sent a scripture to encourage, songs to remind us to continue to praise our Lord and words of encouragement. There are no amount of words that could express how grateful we are for all of the support.
The picture I have posted in today’s blog update is one that Ben asked me to get uploaded. He reminded me that we hope in faith for healing for our boys life. Things continue to be difficult but we are continuing to trust that God Almighty has Ezekiel in the palm of his hand and knows exactly what needs to happen and all in his timings.
Zeke continues to be stable but critical with the team constantly having to titrate the different meds he is on to support his heart and blood pressure. At the moment things are not clear what is causing him to go into failure needing intervention. Right now the focus is on helped him get through this patch he is in. That means keeping his mixed venous and oxygen saturation at a reasonable level that is seeing his organs and body getting the proper oxygen support. Making sure he is getting the necessary blood product replacements. Watching to see if the cultures from blood work drawn produce any insight to the type of infection he’s fighting. And managing the fluid output and input. There is a lot to manage and the team has made it clear his chest cannot be closed till they figure out what tipped him over to need life saving intervention.
Psalm 34:15-18 “The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry. The face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth. When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”
