A Difficult Night
November 24, 11:45am
Today’s update is a little harder because Zeke had a rough night. He had a couple of episodes and went from having a fever to being hypothermic. He currently has a warming blanket to help his temperature increase as it drastically dropped below 35 degrees. Dr Honjo would like to close his chest today barring any other episodes he has. Please pray that this is possible.
Neurology continues to follow closely with the sudden change in temperature and episodes there is concern there is an infection they are not catching or further seizure activity occurring. He is set to have another brain ultrasound and potentially a ct scan to make sure his subdural hematoma is not getting bigger and to assess if there is any seizure activity occurring undetected.
All these things we continue to entrust to the Lord. Thank you for continuing to stand with us in prayer for Zeke. We are all so grateful and blessed to have the body of Christ rally around us.
Psalm 121:1-8 "I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come?
2 My help comes from the LORD,
who made heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot be moved;
he who keeps you will not slumber.
4 Behold, he who keeps Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD is your keeper;
the LORD is your shade on your right hand.
6 The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The LORD will akeep you from all evil; he will keep your life.
8 The LORD will keep
your going out and your coming in
from this time forth and forevermore.

You don't know us but we are the body of Christ, praying in Lagos, Nigeria and in Victoria, BC. We are so thankful that our God never sleeps nor slumbers. None of this is a surprise or outside of His plan and power. Lord, touch and be with little Zeke. Work through the wisdom of the doctors and his care team. Hold the hearts of his precious mom, dad, sister, brothers and family, and build a testimony to YOUR glory. Amen

My mooma's heart aches for this sweet grandson. It aches for my boy Ben and his bride. For though Ben is a grown man, he'll always be my boy and I'd do all I could to ease his pain. Zeke's issue, however, is beyond my ability to solve .... so what can a mother and grandmother do??? Pray. Call my family and friends to join me and to storm heaven asking our Heavenly Father to heal this baby. To grant you and Ben and all those who know and love you comfort and peace that passes all understanding and keep on entrusting you to the One who loves you most.
