Chest Tube Removed

Praise God, Zeke's chest tube got removed today and he had a couple of good poops! Both of these things are very important in moving us towards discharge. What an answer to prayer! Our next goal is working on full feeds. During rounds the team discussed Ezekiel and how well he is doing, however want to take a very conservative approach to reintroducing feeds. They don't want the infection to return setting us back a couple of weeks and so slow and steady is the name of the game.

Please pray for my mama heart to be patient and for me to continue to trust the Lord and his timing for when Ezekiel will be discharged. I am eager to leave the hospital, but also know the need for all the help we are getting.
