CT Scan

Zeke had a ct scan that revealed a stenosis in his innominate vein and confirmed what Dr Floh thought, a partial block by the central line in the left superior vena cava. This explains why he was not getting smaller in his upper extremities. To solve this problem he is getting a central line in his right groin. Unfortunately this comes with its own risks. He has an arterial line in his left groin and they generally do not like to have both groins with lines due to a higher risk of clotting however there are no other options for Zeke. He needs the meds he is on and so this is a risk the team will take.

He will also go to the cath lab tomorrow to get the innominate vein opened up. This will hopefully set him on a path to getting smaller and weaned off his meds quicker. Please pray as he is getting this line in there are no complications. For the cath lab procedure tomorrow to go well. But most off for God to continue to strengthen Zeke’s body as he endures more procedures.
