He will Sustain us
The entire medical team met today to discuss Zeke. We will be consenting to another cath lab to remove a blockage in one of his arteries which may be the cause of his right ventricle not pumping. His status has not changed and waiting is no longer an option as there other unknown factors at play. The team is hopeful that this should be a 30 min procedure with huge, positive results. However, fixing the blockage may have no affect or cause some other underlying cause to flair up and cause a cardiac event. He’s not likely to survive if that happens. The use of ECMO will not be available to Zeke and so we are asking you to pray and cry out to our Heavenly Father to give Dr Marshall wisdom as she carefully navigates his artery and hopes to find a clot rather than anything else and balloon it successfully.
Ben and I just got to pray that the blockage is a complete fix for his ventricle and that he’ll then be able to recover to a point where we can canvas surgical options. God is good. Now matter what the outcome, God is good.
