Hopefully Homeward Bound
April 25, 2022
So we are trying to head back to the island for a bit of normalcy before Zeke's second stage heart surgery in 4 months. This requires a few things to be approved by the team. First off, Zeke's recovery from Covid has had a few hurdles. He has not been sleeping well which is affecting his feeds and growth. Second, from the last cardiac clinic we had last week, his blood pressure has remained a bit too high for the doctors liking. So I am working on helping him sleep and trying to get his feeds back up. We would greatly appreciate prayer for both these points.
This Wednesday we see the team again to assess and Zeke has an ultrasound with general surgery. If all is well then we could head home this weekend. That's if his blood pressure is low and nothing is found on the ultrasound. We are trusting the Lord to guide the team, so please pray for our hearts. Though we want to be reunited as a family we also want what is best for Zeke. So grateful for all the saints that have continued to pray for us.
