Surgery Date

The time we have been waiting for is here. Much sooner than we wanted as Zeke is still smaller than the surgeons would like for this surgery but his oxygen saturation levels have dictated and we must now go in. The fear is that he will get critical and need to be rushed in and the current state of the hospital being short staffed they do not want to encounter that scenario. So he has been scheduled for surgery for the next couple of weeks, November 16th. Pray for our boy to be strong enough to endure this massive surgery and for the Lord to give us the grace we need as we walk through it.

There'll be two preop dates where he gets tests done to provide the surgeons with important information. This will happen next week over two days the 9th and 10th with surgery taking place the 16th. Pray it does not get cancelled as there is a chance of another patient becoming critical and our surgery being bumped. It could also be very short notice of the cancellation (morning of) as well. Pray that we will trust the Lord for His timing in this.
